Andrew Craig '95 came to Assumption in 2006 as Principal, and became President in 2009. He and his wife, Ann, a 1996 AHS grad, have three children, Adriana, Drew, and Tony.

Principal
Bridget Murphy, a ‘97 AHS graduate and longtime member of St. Paul the Apostle Parish, became principal of Assumtion in 2012 after teaching mathematics at Assumption for 11 years. Her free time is spent enjoying her young family, as she and her husband Kevin have six children: Madeline, Brian, Michael, John, Daniel, and Leo.

Assistant Principal/Dean of Students
Eric Ries joined the Assumption family in 2010 as the Assistant Principal/Dean of Students. Prior to coming to Assumption, Eric was the Activities Director at South Tama County for 4 years and taught and coached several sports at Somonauk High School in Illinois for 3 years. He and his wife Sarah have 3 daughters Kayla, at St. Paul's and twins Hallie and Jenna who attend Villa Maria Childcare on the Assumption campus.

Admissions Director
A 2004 graduate of AHS, Mrs. Emily Coryn became Director of Admissions at Assumption in 2009. She graduated from the University of Iowa in 2008 with a double major in Spanish and Communication Studies. Emily also serves as the advisor for Student Ambassadors at AHS.

Athletic Director
Wade King is in his 20th year at Assumption High School having served as a teacher, coach, Dean of Students and now as Athletic Director and Head Football Coach. This is Wade’s 22nd year as an educator. Wade and his wife, Angie, have three daughters, one at Assumption and two who attend John F. Kennedy Catholic School.
