Fine Arts
The fine arts department offers Elements of Theater, Elements of Theater II, Instrumental Music, A Cappella Chorus, Jazz Choir, MusicTheory I, Music Theory II, Art Foundations, Drawing/ Painting, Ceramics, Advanced Studio Art I, Advanced Studio Art II, Graphic Arts and Design, and Advanced Graphic Arts and Design. One full year of fine arts is required for graduation.

Holly Secker began teaching Art and Graphic Design at Assumption in 2007. She taught art at JFK for three years before coming to Assumption, and worked 24 years as a graphic designer. Holly also serves as the Art Club advisor. She has two children and two grandchildren.

Melanie Wulfekuhle began teaching at Assumption in 2007, after graduating from Wartburg College with a Bachelors in Music Education degree. Ms. Wulfekuhle also teaches private piano and clarinet lessons outside of school. She enjoys reading, travelling, cooking, and attending musical performances of any kind!
