4/4:  Turn in works cited page.  Rough Draft due 4/9.  Finish lecture notes in class. Discuss Rough Drafts and in-text citations. HW:  notes 428-433.

4/7:  “Martin Luther’s Words” lesson.  HW:  notes 434-438. 

4/8:  Luther/Calvin graphic organizer.  Discuss Scientific Revolution.  No HW – Rough Draft due tomorrow.

4/9: Turn in Rough Drafts.  HW:  Prepare for quiz on Friday (4/11) over Chapter 13.

4/10:  Dept. day.

4/11:  Ren/Ref Quiz.  Begin Chapter 14 (lead in to Exploration and the Americas) w/spice lesson.  HW:  notes 446-451.

3/31:  Take notes over Chapter 13 (if you were absent) and complete worksheet on “who is involved at each stage of a trial.” 

4/1:  Discuss trial worksheet and review stages of a trial.  Begin assignment on Capital Punishment. HW:  Read historical packet w/statistics and write opinion summary of whether or not you agree with the use of capital punishment (w/explanation of why/why not).

4/2:  Dept. Day.

4/3:  Finish Capital Punishment assignment with in-depth look at Fuhrman v. Georgia.  Turn in completed question sheets tomorrow. 

4/4:  Discuss Furhman v. Georgia, and modern implications (in historical packet).  Review vocab in most recent chapters.  Read Chapter 16 and answer focus questions work sheet for HW.

4/7:  Discuss Chapter 16.  Review for test tomorrow.

4/8:  Test 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16.  Read chapter 17 for HW and take notes.
