Dean of Students
Mrs. Katie Selden joins the AHS Family this year as Dean of Students. She is also the Student Council Advisor and AP Mentor. Mrs. Selden , her husband and twin daughters (Mary and Abigail, age 2) relocated to the Quad Cities recently from St. Paul, MN. Mrs. Selden has been a teacher and administrator in the Catholic Schools for nearly 8 years. She is excited to be a part of the AHS community.

Spiritual Director
Mr. Dan Huber is in his third year as a teacher and spiritual director at AHS. He is a 1984 graduate of AHS and has fifteen years of business experience. He also served in youth and young adult ministry for Sacred Heart for fifteen years. Dan and his wife, Rachel (AHS ‘86), have one daughter and are members of Sacred Heart Cathedral.

Principal
Mr. Andrew Craig is in his second year at Assumption. He graduated from AHS in 1995. He and his wife, Ann, a 1996 grad, have a two-year-old daughter named Adriana. Mr. Craig was Dean of Students before becoming principal.

President
Mrs. Linda Duffy is in her 6th year as President of Assumption, following 22 years in the local business community. She and her husband, Mike ’68, are members of St. Paul the Apostle Parish. They have seven children, including 6 AHS grads and Beth ’08.

Director of Admissions
Miss Danelle Stanger is a 2000 graduate of AHS, and is beginning her 2nd year as Director of Admissions. She graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. in Business Marketing, and then received her M.B.A. from St. Ambrose University. Danelle leads Assumption’s Knight Kompany Dance program, and serves as the advisor for Parent Ambassadors as well as Student Ambassadors at AHS.

Athletic Director
Mr. Wade King is in his 19th year at Assumption High School having served as a teacher, coach, dean of students and now as athletic director and head football coach. This is Wade’s 22nd year as an educator. Wade and his wife, Angie, have three daughters who attend John F. Kennedy Catholic School.
