February 22, 2012 - Department Day 2

Morning Prayer

Operation Rice Bowl 2012

As Lent begins, we are called to serve others and reflect on how Jesus served us.  We can answer this desperate call to serve our poorest brothers and sisters though the Catholic Relief Services’ Operation Rice Bowl. Starting this week, bowls will be placed out so that students and teachers have the opportunity to donate. Use this Lenten season to reflect, pray, and give to our less fortunate neighbors.

Dear Lord,
You suffered and died for us so we could reach eternal happiness. Now it is our turn to give back to you. Guide us to recognize the needs of the hungry. Unite us in the goal to raise money and pray for those who hunger and thirst. Urge us to donate, and remind us to use our blessings to better the lives of others.
Amen

Happy Birthday to Remington Ricciuti, Erica Grubbs, Jacob Hirst, Sean Easler, and Coach Barrer!
