Congratulations to the Class of 2017!

The Class of 2017 took their turn walking across the graduation stage on Sunday, May 28. Assumption’s 59th graduating class of 122 students claimed over $10 million in scholarships –a new school record – and all graduates have plans to attend two or four year colleges and universities.

Student Council President Liz Fennelly ’17 advised graduates “If it is to be, it’s up to me” (read Quad-City Times article here), while Dr. Lee Morrison, Superintendent of Schools for the Davenport Diocese, conferred academic honors and diplomas to the graduates.

Prior to the graduation ceremony at Assumption, graduates participated in the annual Baccalaureate Mass at Sacred Heart Cathedral.
