How are you connected to AHS?

We are the parents of Emily, a 2016 AHS graduate, and Matthew, who is currently a senior.  Gina also was a longterm substitute teacher at AHS during the spring of last year.

Why did you choose an Assumption education for your students?

We were transferred to the area when Emily was a freshman.  We wanted a smaller school atmosphere with a faith-based Catholic education. Assumption was the perfect fit for Emily. The staff and students immediately welcomed her. Within just a couple weeks, Emily felt comfortable at her new school, and we knew we had found the right place for her and our family. Two years later, Matthew began his freshman year, and it’s hard to believe he will soon be a graduate of Assumption as well!

What advice or encouragement do you have to share with current and future students and families?

We have been so pleased with the education our children have received at Assumption. We would encourage all students and families to get involved at Assumption and experience the family atmosphere. After graduating from AHS, Emily left with many wonderful memories and felt very prepared for her studies at Marquette University.  Matthew will be heading off to college next year, and he, too, feels AHS has prepared him well for his next chapter.

What is your favorite Bible verse?

Psalm 46:10 – He says: “Be still, and know that I am God! I am exalted among the nations, exalted on the earth.”
