Featured Student – Anna Schuster ’23

What is your favorite academic subject/class?

My favorite subject is science, especially Chemistry! I really liked taking AP Chemistry, and it’s safe to say that it’s my all-time favorite class.

What are some things you enjoy doing outside of the classroom?

I enjoy being a part of tech for theatre performances, I run for the cross country team, and I recently started playing tennis! I love journaling and scrapbooking in my free time too, it is a very relaxing way to end your day.

What do you love most about being an Assumption student?

I love that as an Assumption student, I am able to have many opportunities to explore my interests and talents. Being at a smaller school helps you get to know people better, and enables you to be more involved in your interests!

What advice or encouragement do you have to share with younger students?

I would tell younger students to focus on all of their classes, but make sure to find a subject that really interests them. That way you know what electives to take when you get older.

What are some of your future plans, hopes, and dreams?

My future plans are to go to college for a degree in environmental science and have a career as a field or lab scientist. I also think I want to help in community theatre productions as a prop manager or in general, find a way to bring more creativity into my life!
