Assumption offers a challenging curriculum designed to give students a solid foundation in preparation for life beyond high school. College and AP classes are offered on campus to introduce students to the rigor of college coursework. A Learning Resource Center (LRC) is also available for those students who may need academic support and enrichment.

A primary focus is placed on providing a core foundation in Religion, English, Math, Science and Social Studies that can be used in many areas beyond high school. Elective courses are available to enrich student creativity and promote a well-rounded student experience.  Assumption embraces real-world learning with technology and is the first high school in the area to offer a computer programming and game design course.

All students are encouraged to get involved in extracurricular activities and/or clubs while attending AHS. With an optimal enrollment size in comparison to other area high schools, student involvement and sense of community at AHS creates an environment that allows students to thrive academically and spiritually.
