Assumption Knight Players Present The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) [revised] [again]
12 actors, all alike in dignity, in fair Sunderbruch Auditorium, where we perform 37 plays in 90 minutes! Join the Assumption Knight Players on October 14 and 15 at 7 PM and on October 16 at 2 PM for our fall play, THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (ABRIDGED) [REVISED] [AGAIN]. The cultural touchstone that is THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (ABRIDGED) was born when three inspired, charismatic comics, having honed their pass-the-hat act at Renaissance fairs, premiered their preposterous masterwork at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 1987. It quickly became a worldwide phenomenon, earning the title of London’s longest-running comedy after a decade at the Criterion Theatre. THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (ABRIDGED) is one of the world’s most frequently produced plays and has been translated into several dozen languages. Featured are all 37 of Shakespeare’s plays, meant to be performed in 97 minutes. Fast paced, witty, and physical, it’s full of laughter for Shakespeare lovers and haters alike. A drama kick-off event will be held in the auditorium on Friday, September 3rd, at 3:30pm. Any students who are interested in participating in drama for the 2021-2022 school year are invited to attend this event to learn and discuss the coming year. Students will get to meet Ms. Stephanie DeLacy, our new Drama Director, as well as the drama officers for the year.

By spending a day in each other’s shoes, Katherine and Ellie come to appreciate one another’s struggles, learn self-acceptance, and realize the immeasurable love and mutual respect that bond a mother and daughter.

Below are a couple pictures from when some of the cast from the Musical “Freaky Friday” went to visit the grade schools this week. The play will be held on Friday, March 6 and Saturday, March 7 at 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday, March 8 at 2:00. It will be held in Sunderbruch Auditorium.
This year’s spring musical will be Disney’s Freaky Friday! Auditions and tech sign up will be held Wednesday, January 8th in the choir room – we hope to see many of you there! Please see below for additional information, and feel free to contact Mrs. King Powers or Mr. Loes with any questions.
