HDC is looking for High School students who are outgoing, creative and have a desire to help people. We offer a Resident Assistant position where you will get hands on training and learn valuable skills that you will be able to take with you. You will work directly with residents providing them with personal care and helping them learn new skills. No uniforms here, this is a casual environment where we like residents to feel at home. YMCA Student Job Opening

Job Openings at Trinity Lutheran – Student Opportunities

Front Desk Receptionist: Welcome students, families and other people within the church and community. Answer phone calls in a welcoming and customer-oriented manner. Perform clerical work for the school and church, as needed. Assist Shining Stars families in the picking up of students. Should have good computer skills, proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Publisher. Excellent grammar and communication skills. Well organized, detail-orientated and quick learner. Ability to multi-task and handle business matters professionally, maturely and confidently. Customer-orientated, energetic, friendly and good team player.

Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 2:30-6:00pm, Wednesday 1:30-6:00pm (18 hours)

Starting Pay: $8.50/hour

Shining Stars Associate (2):  Appropriately supervise children and keep them safe at all times. Assist children with homework completion as needed. Facilitate daily activities that are developmentally appropriate for school age children. Maintaining an environment that is clean, organized, and safe for all children. Be a positive role model for all care giving staff and children. Interact with parents daily and speak with them about their child(ren). Maintain a professional self-image and project the values of Trinity Lutheran at all times.

Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday approximately 2:15-6:00pm, Wednesday 1:15-6:00pm

Starting Pay: $7.50/hour

Preschool Teacher Aide: Assist and provide support to the lead teacher in the full implementation of the preschool curriculum. Assist the lead teacher during classroom instruction. Manage student behavior within the classroom to ensure a proper learning environment. Help maintain a well-organized and safe environment for students.

Hours: 11:15am-3:15pm (20 hours)

Starting Pay: $8.34/hour
