AHS Choir Members Excel at Vocal Festival

Seven Assumption Choir members were selected to participate in the 2025 Dorian Vocal Festival at Luther College on Jan. 12th and 13th. Six of the students also participated in private voice lessons with a voice professor, which made them eligible to be a solo finalist for the Grand Concert. Earning honorable mention for her solo was Katelyn O’Brien ‘25, and listed as a semi-finalist was Geno DelPreore ’25. The Dorian Vocal Festival is the largest select high school honor choir in the country with nearly 1,000 junior/senior student singers from over 200 high schools and five states.
