Times: Morning Session: 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Lunch Break: 11:30 am – 1 p.m.
Afternoon Session: 1 – 3 p.m.
Lunch: Bring a lunch for the break if you do not intend to leave during the lunch break. Lunch not provided.

• Clinicians include Assumption State Champions Julien Broderson, Danny Bush, Pete Bush, Topher Carton, Jon Garvin, Brody Grothus, Josh Watts and Landon Williams.

Wrestling State Sendoff – Feb. 14

There will be a State Sendoff event, Sunday, February 14, 5:00 p.m., at Jersey Grille, for the Assumption Wrestling Team.

We want to wish them well as they are competing for a team trophy and individual honors at the State Duals and Traditional State Tournament.

There will be a light program, which will include auction items.

State Shirts will be available to purchase at the event, $15 each (cash, check, or card).

Lastly, for anyone either going to the event or not, there is a method to donate money to assist covering State expenses. To donate, visit this link, and in the designation section select “other”, and in the other designation section type ” Booster Club- Wrestling State”

Athletic Attendance Policy – Jan. 8 Update

As many have seen or heard, Governor Reynolds updated the attendance guidelines for high school sports on Thursday. The Assumption Administration will be determining how these new guidelines can be safely incorporated into our athletic attendance for games and contests and will be making an announcement concerning home game attendance early next week.

There will be no attendance changes for this weekend’s (Jan. 8-9) contests.  Attendance will continue to be limited to those with school issued gate passes for AWAY games or those that are household members of players and coaches for HOME games.

2020-21 Winter Sports Attendance Guidelines

Dear Knight Nation,

As a result of our Governor’s recent proclamation, we will have significant limitations when it comes to spectators at our high school athletic events this winter. Hopefully these limitations will only be temporary and soon we will have all of our Knights back! In the meantime, we will follow all guidelines that we have been given in regards to hosting events at our facilities and well as when we travel to contests.

Each player is allowed (2) two “Gate Passes” for the game that they will participating in. They will be given these gate passes in advance so they can distribute them to whomever they choose. Fans can only attend the game that their student is participating in. When we have multiple games, we ask that fans leave following their student’s contest and not arrive until their student is scheduled to play. These same procedures will also be in place for away contests.

Anyone that attends will be required to wear a face covering at all times and maintain social distancing from those not normally in your family group. Please do not attend our events if you have any symptoms or if you have been exposed to someone that has tested positive for Covid-19. All in attendance will be directed to their seating areas and are expected to sit where assigned. No one will be allowed to sit directly behind the team benches.

It is with great hope that this will only be a short term protocol for our events  and we appreciate your understanding and support. All varsity contests will be live streamed and can be viewed at no charge. More information will be available soon.

AHS Locker Rooms Clean Out

An announcement for all Athletics and Physical Education students that use the Assumption locker rooms:

If you have any clothing or gear in the Athletics/PE locker rooms, you may come to school to remove these items during normal school hours, (8:00 am – 3:00 pm) through May 1st. Students will be allowed to retrieve items from lockers while following all social distancing guidelines.  Students are asked to enter the school from the front office entrance.

Anything left in lockers after May 1st will be removed and thrown out.  Locker rooms will be cleaned and disinfected after all items are removed.
