Davenport East Little League is in need of umpires on Tuesday and Thursday nights for 10u & 12u at Garfield Park. They will pay $30 per game or you could get service hours. They are needed from 5:45-roughly 8:00. They would need good baseball knowledge and be able to feel comfortable calling balls and strikes. Generally only one or two per night are needed.

A lady in the Assumption neighborhood is looking for help in getting her walks and driveway cleared of snow. She would need the help as soon as possible. Please contact Mrs. Imborek, Mrs. Quested in Student Services or Mrs. Miller in the Front Office for details.
The Girls Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois are looking for student volunteers to help out at an event coming up on October 24th.
Safety is their number one priority for this event for all event volunteers, staff and participants and they will be following all safety guidelines to ensure a fun and safe event. Everyone will be wearing masks, social distancing, and there will be sanitation stations.

They are looking for student volunteers to help out at the different activity areas that they will have around camp. Areas might include, caramel apple bar, concessions, check in/registration table, activity field and games. is said every Friday at 3:00 PM, the hour of mercy, in the chapel.

There will be different stations with different games and Assumption students would be assigned a station/game to help with for the time that they choose. The Davenport Public Library is seeking volunteers at the Fairmount location to assist school age students in the computer lab. Duties include:
- Assist with logging students into games and activities
- Answer basic computer questions
- Attempt to address minor behavior problems
- Report behavior problems to librarian or Supervisor
Volunteers needed for the summer as we anticipate a large number of children visiting the library when school is out. This is a great opportunity for teachers and upperclassmen looking to volunteer over the summer. Please see the attached for more information.
