April Knight of Gratitude – April 29th, 2026!
All gifts in support of April Knight of Gratitude are tax-deductible. The support of sponsors at all levels underwrites the cost of the event itself, including the dinner, which allows all donations from attendees and other supporters to be tax-deductible. A minimum donation of $100 per person is suggested for dinner attendees.
The April Knight of Gratitude will be a beautiful dinner – hosted at the Hotel Blackhawk Gold Room – on Wednesday, April 29th, from 6-9 p.m. Our hope is to bring generations of the Assumption Family together to hear some of the good news we have to share about this ever-important mission of Catholic education at Assumption! That evening, attendees will hear from members of the faculty, staff, supporters, and student body. Of course – our prayer is to see this good news inspire giving!
April Knight was created in 1987 by an enthusiastic group of parents to help support Assumption financially through a dinner and auction. Help us honor the 40th anniversary of April Knight with this rebranded fundraising event – a night to celebrate and support our mission while giving thanks for the fruit it bears! The money raised through April Knight of Gratitude will enhance every student’s experience while attending Assumption. It provides much-needed support for special projects each year as well as larger longer-term projects that require savings.
We have come to believe the old-school auction and raffle model is no longer the best way for us to operate this event. Our mission is to educate young people, and the hours it takes to orchestrate a fundraiser can be countless. We believe our supporters want our time to be spent serving that educational mission to the fullest and want to support our efforts!
There are several opportunities for sponsoring the April Knight of Gratitude:
“Class of”, Corporate, and Family Sponsorships
We are hoping families or those interested in supporting and honoring our current students might consider sponsorship gifts for the event. This year, for example, we will have 4 “Class of” Sponsorship lists for the following:
Class of 2026, Class of 2027, Class of 2028, Class of 2029
Parents or grandparents/family members with a current freshmen and current senior, for example, might choose to sponsor the Class of 2029 and Class of 2026. The names of sponsors will be listed with their appropriate classes and recognized for their support through the various event promotions as well as at the April Knight of Gratitude event. Checks or cash for sponsorships can be sent via the donation envelopes coming home with your students or contributed online via the donation link above. The costs for class sponsorships are $100 per grade.
Corporate Sponsorships are an essential element for this event. Sponsoring businesses will be recognized on our electronic sign throughout the month of April, as well as at the event and on our website. If you have a business and are interested in supporting the April Knight event, this may be a great fit!
Family Sponsorships are acknowledged alongside our corporate sponsors and are generally acknowledged by last name (For example: The Smith Family). As indicated on the Corporate and Family Sponsorship form, the levels are as follows:
Faith: $5,000+, Wisdom: $2,500, Integrity: $1,500, Responsibility: $750, Gratitude: $300

Sign Up for Faculty/Staff Luncheon Items for Catholic Schools Week!
During Catholic Schools Week this year, Knight Network will provide a brunch style lunch for our faculty and staff on Wednesday, January 28th. Knight Network funds will be used to purchase the main lunch/brunch, but we are asking for donations of drinks and breakfast desserts. They can be dropped off in the Assumption Front Office Tuesday, January 27th, between 7:00 and 3:30 or Wednesday morning the 28th, 7:00 a.m.- 9:30 a.m.. Thanks so much for your help and support of our hard-working school employees through the Knight Network parent organization!

Join the AHS Century Club and Enjoy the Century Club Steak Fry!
Join the AHS Century Club & RSVP to attend the annual Steak Fry on Friday, 8/22!
AHS Century Club’s sole mission is to provide financial assistance to the AHS athletic programs. Each year the Century Club helps support all of our team sports by providing funding for athletic facility improvements and new equipment. Annual membership is $100 per family or $200 for Gold Members.
We would like to invite you to become a member of this year’s AHS Century Club and attend our Annual Steak Fry on Friday, August 22nd at Pat & Jack Bush Stadium. The evening kicks off with cocktails at 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner. This adults-only event is FREE to all Century Club members and AHS Coaches. As in the past, we will be raffling off some great prizes that evening. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the event (cash or check only): (1) for $10, (3) for $25 or (8) for $50.
This event has been a great Assumption tradition for over three decades and a fun way to kick off the upcoming seasons for all sports programs. It’s an excellent opportunity to connect with other AHS parents, alumni, and the broader SCCS community while supporting athletics. We hope you can attend!
