Are students allowed to have cell phones at school?

Cell phones are allowed during passing time and lunch periods.  Use of cell phones during class or study halls is strictly prohibited unless permitted by a teacher for educational purposes.  Inappropriate use of a cell phone will result in the confiscation of the phone.  Confiscated phones must be picked up in the Principal’s office by a parent/guardian. Repeated violations of cell phone privileges will result in further consequences as outlined in the Code of Conduct.
