Assumption High, Author at Assumption High School

With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone’s hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. She is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage that is run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. With the help of the other girls in the Orphanage, Annie escapes to the wondrous world of NYC. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan’s evil machinations… and even befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt! She finds a new home and family in billionaire, Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy. Come see Annie at Assumption High School’s Sunderbruch Auditorium on March 3 and 4 at 7 PM and March 5 at 2 PM. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for senior citizens and students without an activity pass. Tickets available online at https://www.showtix4u.com/events/78 or cash or check at the door.

April Knight Student Raffle Sales Incentive

Posted on February 23, 2023June 2, 2023

April Knight is our annual adult fundraiser.

The expectation for this fundraiser is that we raise a minimum of $100,000 for our school budget.
Sales of the raffle tickets is approximately $100,000 ($56,000 net after we pay out all the prize money). Traditionally, you the students, sell more than ½ of the raffle tickets, so you are critical to the success of April Knight!!
If you are concerned that the cost of the ticket is too high ($100) remember, I have the names of people who you can contact who have purchased tickets in the past.
AND/OR you can have several people chip in for the cost of 1 ticket.
Please check out the attached incentive sheet. You will personally earn money for every ticket you sell, and the amount you can earn, increases with every ticket you sell!!!
Who wants to be out of uniform? Whoever’s name we draw on Friday, their entire grade gets to be out of uniform the following Friday!!!

Thank you for supporting our current and future Assumption family by selling raffle tickets!!!

Blessings,

Mrs. McG
