Alter Servers Needed for Baccalaureate Mass
We are looking for Altar Servers for our Baccalaureate Mass this Sunday, May 29th at 3pm (arrival at 2:30pm).
This is a service hour opportunity, you will receive 2 hours.

Living Rosary Prayed for the Senior Class – Tuesday, May 17
All parents and others interested in participating are encouraged to join us in this special opportunity to pray for the Class of 2022 on Tuesday, May 17 at 9:55am in the AHS Gymnasium. Seniors should bring their red graduation robes to put on over their uniform for the rosary, as each member of the class will represent a Hail Mary.

Choir Earns Superior Rating
On Friday, May 6th, the Assumption Choir participated in the IHSMA District Large Group Festival, an adjudicated and rated state event hosted at Central DeWitt High School. The choir, from a panel of three judges, earned a Division 1 “Superior” rating including a perfect score from one of the judges. Congratulations, Choir!
Choir to sing for Mass
This Sunday, May 15th, the Assumption Choir will help lead music at the 9:00 a.m. Mass at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Davenport. The choir will also help lead at the 11:00 a.m. Mass at St. Paul the Apostle in Davenport on Sunday, May 22nd. Please join them in worship!

Each year the Assumption HS parents host a Post Prom party for all junior and senior students. It is a fun, substance free evening which allows students to continue their prom celebration in a supervised environment. Post Prom will be held in the AHS gym from 11:00 PM to approximately 2:30 AM on May 7th-8th and will be a Hawaiian theme.
By signing up you will be assisting in making this a memorable event for the students!

Senior Retreat – May 4th – Parent Sign-Up for Treats
Senior Parents, we are looking for donations of plateable desserts (homemade items are a real treat!), and fruit for the Senior Retreat on Wednesday, May 4th. Donations can be dropped off in the AHS Front Office on Tuesday, May 3rd anytime between 7:15 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., or the morning of Thursday, May 5th from 7:15-8:00 a.m. Please label “Senior Retreat”. If you have a container you would like returned, please remember to label it. If you know what you plan to bring, please put that in the notes on the sign-up.
