School Registration Information – August 3, 2020

We are excited as we prepare to bring students back for the Fall 2020 semester!  Please see below for a variety of forms and supplemental school year information.  Reviewing these items and completing forms will save time and effort when families come for drop-in school registration on  Monday, July 27th or Monday, August 3rd, between 10am and 1pm in the AHS cafeteria.  If you still have questions after reviewing the information provided, please contact the school as we are happy to assist you.  We pray that you have a blessed and joyful remainder of this summer with your families!

In conjunction with our efforts to promote the greatest possible learning environment and communication processes throughout the year, we will be transitioning to a new student information system this fall via PowerSchool.  System login information will be provided to families as soon as it is available prior to the start of the school year.  In anticipation of this changeover, please be sure to contact Shelli Miller at shelli.miller@assumptionhigh.org if any of your parent/guardian contact information has changed.

Additional Resources for 2020 Graduates

I wanted to share two additional resources for 2020 graduates that have been brought to my attention if you are interested in participating.  The first one is directed more at Quad City Graduates, and the second is on a more national scale.  As I said – these are just options, but I wanted to be sure you knew they were available to you.

Pray the Novena with Mother Susan and Sister Anthony – Starts 4-10-2020

Mother Susan and Sister Anthony would like to invite you to pray the Divine Mercy Novena with us.

The Novena (usually a 9 day prayer) will begin this Friday, April 10th @ 2:30 PM.

(We moved the chaplet up so those in Davenport could participate in the Good Friday Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion via St. Paul the Apostle’s Facebook page Live. The remaining days of the novena will be @ 3:00PM)

Below is the Zoom Meeting information. Please note the added security feature of a password! It’s “Mercy”.

I will send out the following Novena Days (2-9) meeting links after the chaplet on Friday. I’m not sure if I should put the links in one email, or email one link every day. If you have a preference let me know. Majority will rule.

Lastly, attached is the Novena day intentions and also instructions for the chaplet.
