Course registration for the upcoming 2018-2019 school year has passed. If your student has yet to turn in their registration form please have these into Student Services ASAP. Students taking AP Courses have been given their registration materials. The registration deadline is Friday, March 2nd.

April Knight “Fingerpickin’ Grand Prize Raffle Tickets” were handed out to your students. If your student did not receive any, or would like additional tickets, they are available in the Business Office. The total ticket (Grand Prize $99 AND Early Bird $1 = $100.00, made out to AHS) The Grand Prize ($25,000) will be drawn during “A Knight of Beverly Hillbillies” on 4-20-18 and Early Bird drawing is 4-4-18. The Academic Decathlon Team competed on January 27, 2018 at Cedar Rapids Jefferson High School. They took second-place among small schools at the tournament.
In the “Honor” category, Audrey Jestel earned one gold and one bronze. Garrett Daniel earned two bronzes, one silver, and three golds. Nicholas Carber earned two bronzes, one silver, and two golds.
In the “Scholastic” category, Lauryn Bergert earned three bronzes, six silvers, and one gold!

Just a reminder that the Early Bird Registration Application Fee for incoming Freshman will end on February 16, 2018. Below are the instructions for registering your Freshman for next year. Application for Admission: Complete the Assumption High School Application for Admission online at apply.assumptionhigh.org.
Application Fee: Pay the $50 Application Fee (discounted fee through February 16, 2018). Online applications submitted after February 16th are certainly welcome with the standard fee of $75. The fee can be paid online or mailed to: Assumption High School, ATTN: Admissions, 1020 W. Central Park Ave., Davenport, IA 52804, OR dropped off at the AHS front office. A student’s application cannot be processed until the application fee is received.
AHS was happy to host the 2018 Middle School Regional Science Fair Participants in the Assumption library on Thursday, February 8th. High school student judges were extremely impressed with the work and creativity of these young learners. After much deliberation, the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners were recognized – Gold: Evan Gluba (Our Lady of Lourdes, 7th grade); Silver: Netsanet Kantner (All Saints Catholic School, 6th grade); Bronze: Brandon Shell (John F. Kennedy Catholic School, 8th grade). Congratulations to all!
