Congratulations to the Assumption Vocal Jazz Ensemble, Central Park Jazz, for earning Division 1 ratings from all three judges at the IHSMA State Vocal Jazz Festival on Feb. 10th! The event was hosted by North Scott High School, and this season the choir participated in vocal jazz festivals at North Liberty and Solon High Schools. You can hear the choir perform their season repertoire at the Spring Vocal Recital on Wednesday, April 23rd at 7:30 pm at Sound Conservatory in downtown Moline.
The Quest Bridge College Prep Scholars Program is designed to give high-achieving high school juniors from low-income backgrounds the tools needed to apply to top colleges. From full scholarships to college summer programs to a supportive community of your peers and other specialized resources, College Prep Scholars get a (free!) head start on the college application process.

To be eligible for the Alpha Delta Kappa Upsilon Chapter scholarship, the student must be a graduating senior in 2025. The student must also be pursuing a college degree in education.

St. Paul the Apostle Future Fund is offering a scholarship for a graduating senior who attended St. Paul the Apostle School, and who is planning to attend a college or university. You must include a typewritten essay entitled “What My Catholic Education Has Meant to Me” (maximum 1,000 words). The Selection Committee will review all applications and essays. The scholarship is not renewable. All applications must be received to SPS office by March 3oth. No late applications will be accepted.
The QC Morning Optimist Club offers up to $4000 in scholarships to high school seniors. The applications are considered on the basis of financial need, work ethic, and community service.

In 1997, the Iowa Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators established the R.C. Hentges Scholarship Program in honor of Reynold C. Hentges, the 1st President and
Life Member on the Iowa Chapter when it was reorganized in 1993.
Applicants must be a resident of Iowa and have been accepted to or enrolled as either an online or resident student in a nationally or regionally accredited college, university or
vocational/technical school. Applicants must major in a field of education promoting a career in one of the following professions or area of study: Fire Service, Fire Science, Law
Enforcement, Law, Fire Protection Engineering, Fire Protection Technology or Insurance.
