The Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship
The Coca-Cola Scholars Program scholarship is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to students in their final year of high school. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities. With the addition of the 2026 class, the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation will have provided more than 7,200 Coke Scholars nationwide with over $90 million in scholarships as it celebrates 40 years of impact since its founding in 1986. 150 Coca-Cola Scholars are selected each year to receive this $20,000 scholarship.

American Legion – Harvey W. Klindt Scholarship
Requirements:
- Scholarships are awarded on the basis of financial need and such personal qualities as Patriotism, Character and Leadership abilities as demonstrated in school and community activities.
- Applicants must be sons, grandson, daughters or granddaughters of Veterans. In the event of a tie, preference is given to children and grandchildren of Post 26 American Legion members.
- This scholarship is a one-time grant, for graduating seniors in high school only.
- The Scholarship Committee reserves the right to limit awards to qualified students. There is no automatic grant to graduates of a particular school (public, private or homeschool.) Applicants shall be a resident of the City of Davenport and graduate from a school within the city limits; however, Davenport Post 26 Members having a child or grandchild graduating from a Scott County school are also eligible.
- Students may apply any funds granted to any institution of higher learning of their choice.
- Applications must be completed and returned to your high school counselor or sent to Davenport Post 26 American Legion at 702 W. 35th Street, Davenport, Iowa 52806 on or before April 15th of the current year.

Jazz Choir Succeeds at State
Congratulations to the Assumption Vocal Jazz Ensemble, Central Park Jazz, for earning Division 1 ratings from all three judges at the IHSMA State Vocal Jazz Festival on Feb. 10th! The event was hosted by North Scott High School, and this season the choir participated in vocal jazz festivals at North Liberty and Solon High Schools. You can hear the choir perform their season repertoire at the Spring Vocal Recital on Wednesday, April 23rd at 7:30 pm at Sound Conservatory in downtown Moline.
Quest Bridge – College Prep Scholars Program
The Quest Bridge College Prep Scholars Program is designed to give high-achieving high school juniors from low-income backgrounds the tools needed to apply to top colleges. From full scholarships to college summer programs to a supportive community of your peers and other specialized resources, College Prep Scholars get a (free!) head start on the college application process.
