What is your favorite academic subject/class?

Foods.

What are some things you enjoy doing outside of the classroom?

Playing sports and spending time with family and friends.

What do you love most about being an Assumption student?

The friends I have made along the way.

What advice or encouragement do you have to share with younger students?

Do all the homework even if it is optional, go to every school event, get involved, and have fun!

What are some of your future plans, hopes, and dreams?

I plan to go to college and study marine biology.

What is your favorite Bible verse?

1 Corinthians 9:24 – “Do you not realise that, though all the runners in the stadium take part in the race, only one of them gets the prize? Run like that — to win.”

What is your favorite academic subject/class?

Biology and Anatomy

What are some things you enjoy doing outside of the classroom?

I enjoy volunteering with dogs at the Humane Society and playing tennis.

What do you love most about being an Assumption student?

I love learning from teachers who genuinely enjoy the subjects they are teaching, and who are willing to take the next step further to help each student. The teachers are so great and supportive.

What advice or encouragement do you have to share with younger students?

Don’t be afraid to branch out and meet new people and try new things: every experience is worthwhile.

What are some of your future plans, hopes, and dreams?

I plan to study biology at the University of Iowa, and I hope to become a veterinarian, or possibly an oncologist.

What is your favorite Bible verse?

Joshua 1:9 – “I command you: be strong and steadfast! Do not fear nor be dismayed, for the Lord, your God, is with you wherever you go.”

What is your favorite academic subject/class?

History

What are some things you enjoy doing outside of the classroom?

I love playing tennis.  In my free time, I practice and play with some of my friends. I also love to cook!  My family owns MJ’s Restaurant, and I work there almost every day.

What do you love most about being an Assumption student?

I love that it’s a small school and you get to know everybody. The faculty are very friendly and care a lot about the students and their education. Everyone works hard to make Assumption students become successful academically, spiritually, and morally.

What advice or encouragement do you have to share with younger students?

Never be afraid to ask for help from a student or a teacher. You are not alone no matter what the situation is. Always do your best to stay on top of your homework, classes, and tests.

What are some of your future plans, hopes, and dreams?

My future plan is to go to Saint Ambrose and study Pre-optometry and Business. My hope is to also play tennis there.

What is your favorite Bible verse?

Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.”

What is your favorite academic subject/class?

Math/Calculus

What are some things you enjoy doing outside of the classroom?

I enjoy being the team manager for the football team.  I help with scouting, data tracking during games, set-up of equipment before practice, and more.

What do you love most about being an Assumption student?

I love the community at Assumption.  Everyone, from the teachers to the students, is friendly and always willing to help.  It is a great environment.

What advice or encouragement do you have to share with younger students?

Freshman year is important.  Your grades and what you get involved with will still matter when you are a senior and are applying to colleges.

What are some of your future plans, hopes, and dreams?

I hope to attend the University of Notre Dame and study engineering.

Proverbs 16:9 – “In his mind a man plans his course, but the Lord directs his steps.”
