As we approach the end of this school year, plans for end-of-year activities are taking shape. In particular, our Knight Network Parent Organization has traditionally taken the lead on organizing our (11th and 12th grade) Post Prom event. We are looking forward to hosting this event beginning on Saturday, May 1st, at 11pm, and ending on Sunday, May 2nd, at 2:30am in the large gym. Parents of AHS students (any grade level) who are interested in being a part of this year’s Post Prom Committee, please email or call Shelli Miller at shelli.miller@assumptionhigh.org (563-326-5313 x 200). Junior Parents – Looking for Junior Retreat Desserts
We are looking for donations of desserts for the Junior Retreat on Friday, February 5th, at Sacred Heart Cathedral. We are asking for Junior parent volunteers. Dessert donations can be sent with your junior student on the morning of the retreat (Friday, February 5th). If you have a container you would like returned, please remember to label it. During Catholic Schools Week, Knight Network will provide lunch for our faculty and staff on Wednesday, February 3rd. We are asking help from Sophomore parents for this event. Knight Network funds will be used to purchase lunch, but we are asking for donations of water and desserts. They can be dropped off in the Assumption Front Office Tuesday, February 2nd, between 7:30 and 3:30 or Wednesday morning after 7:30 a.m. Thanks so much for your help and support of our hard-working school employees through the Knight Network parent organization!

National Honor Society Treats – Sophomore Parents – September 18
We are seeking Sophomore parents to bring in treats for after the National Honor Society Inductions on Wednesday, September 18th. Bottled water donations can be dropped off at the Business office during regular hours any day/time prior to 10am on Wednesday, September 18th. Cookies and paper product donations can be dropped off at the AHS Front Office any day/time prior to noon on Wednesday, September 18th. The ceremony begins at 1:30 on September 18th in the AHS Auditorium. Thank you!

Prom Update Letter and Post Prom Sign-up
Student Council members will be selling tickets during lunches until Friday May 3rd for $40 per person in order to provide everyone the opportunity to attend.
If your student would like to bring a guest from another school, they need to see Mr. Frieden for the proper dance guest permission form. Please choose your attire with a standard of modesty in mind. Any students who need assistance with acquiring appropriate attire or with purchasing a ticket should see Mrs. Murphy or Mr. Frieden, as there are means in place to make sure that financial barriers do not prevent any student from attending this fun event.
