Prom Update Letter and Post Prom Sign-up

Student Council members will be selling tickets during lunches until Friday May 3rd for $40 per person in order to provide everyone the opportunity to attend.

If your student would like to bring a guest from another school, they need to see Mr. Frieden for the proper dance guest permission form.  Please choose your attire with a standard of modesty in mind.  Any students who need assistance with acquiring appropriate attire or with purchasing a ticket should see Mrs. Murphy or Mr. Frieden, as there are means in place to make sure that financial barriers do not prevent any student from attending this fun event.

Dear Assumption Family,

I want to personally thank everyone who supported April Knight, Re-U-Knighted…and it feels so good! Whether you attended the event, donated an item, were a corporate sponsor, or purchased a raffle ticket, we could not have made the evening a success without you. A special thanks to Bill Obenauf, Dan DeVries, and Nick Haut for their leadership during the live auction – their commitment and comedic timing proved just the right mix for a fruitful auction.

As the income generated at April Knight supports such a variety of areas (including tuition assistance, academic programming, technological upgrades, and capital improvement projects), I thought it was important to share that revenue from this year’s event was well over the five year average, and we saw an incredible 10% increase when compared to last year alone!

On behalf of our students, faculty, and staff, thank you – you are what truly what makes Assumption special. Through your dedication and commitment it possible for us to continue providing an excellent Catholic education to our students.

Post Prom Volunteers and Donations – Sign Up Genius

We need your help!

Are you ready for some fun???  We are ready to get you signed up!!

Volunteer workers are needed to run the games, deal the cards and serve the food. Volunteers should plan to arrive by 10:00 PM. Doors open at 10:30 PM, and clean up ends around 2:30 AM.  If you aren’t into the late night thing, we need help with set up on Saturday morning. Extra hands are welcome to drop by any time between 10:00 AM and noon in the large gym. If you have any questions about the evening, or want to volunteer and the slots are full, please contact Rosie Salazar at rosiesalazar1@live.com.

AHS needs your help!  Sometimes, it’s all about who you know!  Do you have contacts or are you willing to work on obtaining one (or more) of the items on this Wish List?   You may work individually or with a group to achieve results-no meetings!  If you have any other ideas that are not included on this list or have questions, please contact Susie Foster at susie.foster@assumptionhigh.org or 563-326-5313, ext. 281.

Many hands make light work and the results are better – thank you for your key help in making April Knight a success!

It’s time again to show our love and support for the fabulous faculty and staff at AHS! Knight Network is providing teacher treats on Tuesday, March 26th. We are asking for Sophomore parent volunteers.
