Last week we shared that our annual April Knight Auction and Gala was being postponed. We are now excited to announce that this year’s auction will be held exclusively online! You will be able to bid on both live and silent auction items from the comfort of your couch, while maintaining a safe social distance from those bidding against you. While we will all miss the opportunity to gather as a community in support of our great school, the health and safety of our Assumption Family must be our top priority. 2020 April Knight Raffle Tickets were handed out to students present in lunch periods on Wednesday, February 12th. Additional tickets are available in the Business Office or the Front Office.
During Catholic Schools Week, Knight Network will provide lunch for our faculty and staff on Wednesday, January 29th. We are asking help from Sophomore parents for this event. Knight Network funds will be used to purchase lunch, but we are asking for donations of water and desserts. They can be dropped off in the Assumption Front Office Monday, January 27 between 7:30 and 3:30 or Tuesday morning after 7:30 a.m. Thanks so much for your help and support of our hard-working school employees through the Knight Network parent organization!

April Knight, Assumption’s largest fundraiser, benefits all students at Assumption by funding facility improvements, classroom materials, technology upgrades, and student activities in Academics, Athletics, and Fine Arts. This festive and very fun evening, complete with fantastic food, adult beverages, music, dancing, and live and silent auctions, is held in the creatively transformed gym at Assumption.
This year’s April Knight will celebrate the Tradition of Excellence at Assumption!
It’s time again to show our love and support for the fabulous faculty and staff at AHS! Knight Network is providing teacher treats on Tuesday, January 14th. We are asking for Freshman parent volunteers. Food donations can be dropped off in the AHS Front Office any time Tuesday morning after 7:00 a.m. If you have a container you would like returned, please remember to label it. If you know what you plan to bring, please put that in the notes on the sign-up. Thank you so much for your support of our AHS community!
Please join us for a special prayer opportunity at Assumption High School. Each Thursday at 9:00 AM, our entire Assumption family (parents, grandparents, alumni, etc.) is invited to gather in the AHS Chapel for prayer. We pray for the students (each by name, one class per week), pray for the students’ intentions (prayer boxes are available in several of the teachers’ rooms), intentions for our entire AHS community, and then conclude praying the Rosary together. Come as you are and come when you are able and your schedule allows. Although many of you may work during the day and may not be able to join us, please know, we are happy to lift any intentions you may have and we ask that you remember our prayer gathering and join us in spirit.
If and when you can join, just simply use the main entrance, register in the school office and find your way to the Chapel…if you aren’t yet familiar with AHS, the office staff or other parents will guide the way! And PLEASE do not let praying the Rosary deter you – we are all at different levels with this powerful prayer and can learn and grow together.
