REMINDER! The Annual AHS Century Club Steak Fry is just one week away—Friday, August 22nd at 6:00 p.m. at Jack & Pat Bush Stadium.

As in the past, we will be raffling off some great prizes at the Steak Fry. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase that evening (cash or check only), (1) for $10, (3) for $25 or (8) for $50.

Assumption Choir Information

Singing in Choir/Opus/All-State

Students, please consider joining the Assumption Choir! We’ll have an even larger ensemble this year, and you would be part of friendly, dedicated, and accomplished group. 9th grade choir members are encouraged to audition for the 39th Annual Opus Honor Choir. Information about the festival and registration for an audition camp on Aug. 11 and 12 can be found HERE. There is no cost for the camp. 9th – 12th grade choir members are encouraged to audition for the prestigious Iowa All-State Chorus. Interested students need to contact Dr. Loes, and plan to attend an All-State camp at Davenport North HS on Aug. 4th and 5th. The cost of the camp is $50 and it will include 3 meals.

2025-2026 AHS Registration Days – Monday, July 28 and Monday, August 4

Drop-In Registration and School Yearbook Picture Days: July 28th from 10am-1pm, or August 4th from 10am-1pm

Be on the lookout for a more detailed “Back to School 2025-2026 Information Letter” by email by end of day Friday, July 25th. Please take note of these dates as every student will need to stop in on one of the days, drop off important paperwork, and have a school year photo taken along with some other important items.

Some pre check-off items so that you are coming to registration days well prepared for the 2024-2025 year:

  • SENIORS are required to provide an updated immunization record reflecting the 2nd Meningitis Vaccine (MenACWY or Men ABCWY) required by the Scott County Health Dept. (Please look for an email with more information regarding this vaccine as we are required by law to have this record before a student is to attend school as a senior. You will not receive an email if your have one on file.) You can also email this record to donica.mokosak@assumptionhigh.org at any time.
  • FRESHMEN are required to bring a Certificate of Dental Screening
  • ALL ATHLETES are required to have an Iowa Athletic Pre-Participation Physical Examination  and a Heads Up Concussion Form  signed and turned in with the physical. *It is highly recommended that even if you don’t plan to play a sport, that a physical is obtained and turned in so you are eligible to play a sport at any point in the year!

 

AHS Boys Golf Tryout Dates

Assumption Boys Golf tryouts will be held August 11th at 10:30 am, and August 12th at 11:50 am at Emeis Golf Course. Athletes will play a round of golf each day. Teams will be decided upon and posted on the 2nd day of tryouts at the golf course. Please note these special instructions:

-Be there at least 1 hour early for check in and warm ups.

-Wear golf dress code. No jeans, gym shorts, or t-shirts! Golf polo and golf/dress shorts or pants.

-Bring a water bottle.

Join the AHS Century Club & RSVP to attend the annual Steak Fry on Friday, 8/22!

 

 

AHS Century Club’s sole mission is to provide financial assistance to the AHS athletic programs. Each year the Century Club helps support all of our team sports by providing funding for athletic facility improvements and new equipment. Annual membership is $100 per family or $200 for Gold Members.

We would like to invite you to become a member of this year’s AHS Century Club and attend our Annual Steak Fry on Friday, August 22nd at Pat & Jack Bush Stadium. The evening kicks off with cocktails at 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner. This adults-only event is FREE to all Century Club members and AHS Coaches. As in the past, we will be raffling off some great prizes that evening. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the event (cash or check only): (1) for $10, (3) for $25 or (8) for $50.

This event has been a great Assumption tradition for over three decades and a fun way to kick off the upcoming seasons for all sports programs. It’s an excellent opportunity to connect with other AHS parents, alumni, and the broader SCCS community while supporting athletics. We hope you can attend!
