All seniors must be in attendance and dressed in professional business attire. Young men wear slacks, dress shirt, and tie. Young women wear slacks or skirts that skim the knee. If skirts do not skim the knee without adjustment, students will be asked to change or put on tights. Shoulders must be covered, with modest necklines. The Student Services Office must be notified of all honors and awards students will receive. This information is requested from all seniors in early April. Senior parents should check with their sons and daughters to be sure students have notified Student Services of all awards. Assumption High School, the senior class, and their families have many things for which to be proud. Please help to make sure that all Class of 2025 accomplishments are recognized.
In an effort to reserve as much of the parking at and near the cathedral for family and friends in attendance, seniors will gather at Assumption prior to Baccalaureate. Seniors should park in the Trinity Lutheran parking lot, and be ready to line up in S-wing at 2:00 p.m. We will then bus them to and from the Baccalaureate Mass. As typical, faculty should be ready to line up at the side outdoor entrance to the cathedral at 2:30 p.m. Seniors will wear their graduation robes for the Baccalaureate Mass. Faculty will wear their black robes and white stoles for both Baccalaureate and Graduation. Seniors will be bussed back to Assumption following the Mass to prepare for graduation.
Seniors should be ready to line up in E-wing at 5:00 p.m. Seniors will wear their graduation robes and caps (please be sure that the tassel is attached and caps have not been altered or decorated in any way). NHS cords will be distributed at this time to be worn at the graduation ceremony. (These cords are the only cords allowed for the graduation ceremony.)
