Support Scott County K-12 Catholic Schools – Contact your Representative

Please take a moment to contact your Members of Congress to ask that emergency aid to nonpublic schools and families be included in the next Covid-19 Legislation package. Our requests include equitable access to K-12 federal funds for nonpublic schools, direct support to families for tuition assistance and additional tax breaks for K-12 tuition payments.

As always, we encourage you to include your personal story in the message to your legislators, as well.

Our nonpublic schools and the families they serve should be included in the COVID-19 relief legislation. Make your voice heard by contacting your Congressional members today. Thank you for your advocacy!

Additional Resources for 2020 Graduates

I wanted to share two additional resources for 2020 graduates that have been brought to my attention if you are interested in participating.  The first one is directed more at Quad City Graduates, and the second is on a more national scale.  As I said – these are just options, but I wanted to be sure you knew they were available to you.

ALL ARE WELCOME!  Please join us this Sunday, January 26, 2020, in the Assumption High School Cafeteria.  Drop in anytime between 4 – 7 p.m. for the annual Senior Spaghetti Supper! Your attendance and support are greatly appreciated. This event is our special gift to the Assumption Community.

The meal includes salad, spaghetti, bread, drink, and dessert. Meals are complimentary, and Rev. Louis Colonnese’s sauce recipe (used at the first AHS Spaghetti Supper in 1960) is the secret! Take-out orders will be packaged upon request. Please help the Assumption Class of 2020 in this service effort. The class is attempting to raise funds to give a gift back to the school upon graduation. Donations will be accepted at the door.
