The price of Prom Tickets will increase to $50.00/each starting tomorrow, Friday, May 4th.
Prom Tickets will go on sale next week, April 30th-May 3rd during the lunch periods. The tickets are $40.00/each.
Prom will be held at the Outing Club on Saturday, May 12th.
Please join the Assumption Knight Players for this weekend’s One Act Showcase, featuring six student directed one act plays! Showtimes are Saturday, May 5th at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 6th at 2:00 p.m. All tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door.
Following the Sunday performance at 4:30 p.m. we will hold the 2018 Drama Awards Ceremony. We encourage all students (and parents!) who participated in drama this year to attend the Drama Awards Ceremony – even if you are unable to attend the One Act Showcase performance!
Cars traveling westbound toward Assumption will be briefly detoured next week due to road construction involving sewer lines. All lanes of Central Park between Gaines St. and Western Ave. will be shut down for the week. Please allow extra time when commuting to and from school if this is a part of your route. Immaculée Ilibagiza, a Rwandan genocide survivor and New York Times best-selling author of Left To Tell: Discovering God Amidst the Rwandan Genocide will be speaking about faith, hope, love and forgiveness on April 17 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $25 each and sales benefit Project 1512, a local service organization that originated at St. Paul the Apostle Parish. Book signing and sale of materials will be available after her 75 minute presentation.

St. Paul the Apostle Future Fund is offering a scholarship for a graduating senior who attended SPS, and who is planning to attend a college or university. You must include a typewritten essay entitled “What My Catholic Education Has Meant to Me” (maximum 1,000 words). The Selection Committee will review all applications and essays. The scholarship will be awarded at the Annual Future Fund Dinner to be held on Friday, May 4, 2018. The scholarship is not renewable. All applications must be received at SPS by Friday, March 29, 2018. No late applications will be accepted.
