Freshman Formal

Assumption will again host a “Freshman Formal” on Saturday, November 11^th, from 7:00-10:00 PM in the Assumption cafeteria.  This non-dated dance is open only to 9^th graders who attend Assumption High School. Attire is expected to be similar to Homecoming or Turnabout, with girls having the opportunity to wear semi-formal dresses of appropriate length and modesty, and boys wearing shirts and ties.  (Any students who need assistance with acquiring the appropriate attire or with purchasing a ticket should see Mrs. Murphy or Mr. Frieden, as we have means in place to make sure that financial barriers will not prevent any student from attending this fun event.)  Check-in will begin at 7:00 PM dinner (unlimited gourmet brick-oven pizzas) will be served all throughout the event, and music and dancing will be sure to keep the event enjoyable for all.  Students needing to leave prior to 9:30 will need parent/guardian verbal (via phone) or written (via note or email) permission.  Student Council members will be selling tickets during lunches on October 25, 26, and 27^th, for $20 per person.
