Attention all AHS Parents,
We want to be sure you are aware of the efforts being made at Assumption and throughout the Diocese of Davenport to assure students are educated with regard to personal safety, self-respect, and appropriate boundaries. For a number of years, the Virtus program has been implemented for all employees and volunteers in our schools and parishes. This year, a student education program through Virtus is being instituted at all grade levels as well. The plan for implementation at Assumption High School is to integrate the training (1 45-minute session each semester) into our Theology courses. If you would like to view the specifics of the program, please contact Natalie Imborek, Assumption Campus Minister, at natalie.imborek@assumptionhigh.org. An opt-out form is attached to this post if you prefer your student be excluded from this educational programming. Please submit all completed forms to Mrs. Imborek via email (or drop off in the AHS front office) no later than Monday, September 24th at 3pm.
