Catholic College Scholarship Opportunity

The Christian Connector and CatholicCollegeInfo provides support by offering a variety of free resources as well as a $2,000 annual Catholic college scholarship. By completing our information request form students can conveniently request information from Catholic colleges, and universities – all in one place. It’s like attending a huge Catholic college fair without ever leaving home.

Students who complete our free Catholic college Info form are automatically entered in our $2,000 Catholic College Scholarship drawing. The drawing is open to all students Freshman-Seniors and will be drawn in June, so there’s still time for your students to qualify! Students can fill out the free form by visiting CatholicCollegeInfo.com . All students who request Catholic college information and who are considering a Catholic college are entered.

ESA Sign Up Date for 2024-2025 School Year

With an eye toward the next school year, many of our families are looking forward to enrolling (or re-enrolling) their students’ in Education Savings Accounts (ESAs).  Our latest information indicates that the first opportunity to sign up will be at 8 am on April 16th.  We expect a few changes to the process – which may simplify the enrollment process.  Once we are able to confirm the details, we’ll follow up with another email, so stay tuned!

Please Consider Hosting for our NET Team April 30-May 3

We are 60 days out from our class retreats (April 30th– May 3rd).

This year, we are looking for families to host the NET missionaries from Sunday, April 28th (evening)- Friday, May 3rd (morning.) Each morning, they will need to be dropped off at the retreat site, and each evening, upon their return to your home, they need dinner and a place to sleep.

There are 5 men, and 5 women NET members. So we are looking for homes that could accommodate 2 or 3.

Please contact Natalie.imborek@assumptionhigh.org for more information about housing NET.

We are in need of host families! Please consider this need for our AHS community as a wonderful way to give back!

April Knight 2024 Raffle Ticket Sales

This year’s April Knight is Friday, April 26th. As in the past, the evening includes food and drink, auction, a great social atmosphere, and the excitement of the annual raffle ticket drawings. Raffle prizes total over $25,000, and each ticket offers 25 chances to win! This year, the cost per raffle ticket is only $25, and we are hoping to see this shift make it possible for more members of our community to participate while those who have long supported us in this effort might just increase their number of tickets purchased as well as their chances to win!

Tax-deductible donation option through the AK Raffle: Another option for support through our raffle is to purchase tickets in honor or memory of a loved one. This option offers the raffle ticket purchase amount to qualify as a tax deductible donation to the school.  If you would like to choose this option, please just list the name on the ticket in the following format: “AK – In memory of John Smith.”  Any further address or phone information should be that of the purchaser (you), so we are able to send you an acknowledgement of your gift.  Any winnings from this type of ticket will go to benefit April Knight (AK).  We thank you in advance for your consideration of this gifting option!
