Citizens Scholarship
The Citizens Scholarship awards a monthly prize of $2,500 and a grand prize of $15,000; with no essay required. Both students and their parents/sponsors can enter*! We are also very proud to announce that we recently launched a Minority scholarship prize of $2,500 to be awarded on a quarterly basis.
Musicians Selected for the All-State Music Festival
Two musicians have been selected to perform at the 75th Annual Iowa All-State Music Festival at Iowa State University this Nov. 18 – 20. Bailey Lehnert ’22 will be a Soprano 1 in the chorus, and AJ Barry ’24 will play euphonium in the band. Congratulations Bailey and AJ! The concert will be recorded by Iowa Public Television and aired on Thanksgiving Day at 7:00 p.m.
Save the Date-National Honor Society Induction
National Honor Society Inductions will take place on Tuesday, November 9th at 7:00 p.m. in the Sunderbruch Auditorium. We ask that students arrive early at 6:15 p.m. and that they dress appropriately for the occasion. We look forward to honoring the hard work and virtue that these students have shown during their time at Assumption High School.
