Mother Susan and Sister Anthony would like to invite you to pray the Divine Mercy Novena with us.

The Novena (usually a 9 day prayer) will begin this Friday, April 10th @ 2:30 PM.

(We moved the chaplet up so those in Davenport could participate in the Good Friday Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion via St. Paul the Apostle’s Facebook page Live. The remaining days of the novena will be @ 3:00PM)

I will send out the following Novena Days (2-9) meeting links after the chaplet on Friday. I’m not sure if I should put the links in one email, or email one link every day. If you have a preference let me know. Majority will rule.

April Knight Goes Virtual!

Last week we shared that our annual April Knight Auction and Gala was being postponed. We are now excited to announce that this year’s auction will be held exclusively online! You will be able to bid on both live and silent auction items from the comfort of your couch, while maintaining a safe social distance from those bidding against you. Further details will be shared in the coming days and weeks, so please stay tuned for information on how to sign up to bid, teasers on our fabulous items, and more!

April Knight Postponed

Dear Assumption Family,

In light of the ever-changing conditions surrounding the coronavirus, we have decided to postpone this year’s April Knight. While we will all miss the opportunity to gather as a community in support of our great school, the health and safety of our Assumption Family must be our top priority. If you have already sent in your reservation, we will be in touch soon.

We are currently looking into options for a possible online auction and will keep you updated on any developments there. We are still planning to hold our Early Bird and Grand Prize Raffle drawings as scheduled. Please consider showing your support of Assumption while having the chance to win several great cash prizes by purchasing a raffle ticket or two! Our Early Bird Raffle drawing will be held as scheduled on April 15th, and our Grand Prize Raffle drawing will be held April 24th. Service Hours Opportunity – Census

Assistance is needed in placing door hangers on apartments promoting the census.  The hanging period is designated for Friday, March 20-Monday, March 23.  There is no age requirements, but having some adult participation/supervision can be helpful.  Those placing hangers on doors are not interacting with anyone, they will just place the hanger and move on.

Assumption is hosting the 3A Solo and Ensemble Festival on Saturday, March 28. This event needs many volunteers to be successful, and the music department needs your help. This service hour opportunity is open to all students and we can offer service hours for your time.

We have opportunities on Friday after school for set up and all day on Saturday. Please let me know if you have questions or need help signing up.
