University of Iowa Scholarships
The University of Iowa offers more than 2,000 scholarships each year to outstanding students based on financial need, merit, or both.
Iowa State Scholarships
Iowa State offers numerous scholarships for incoming students. Some scholarships are based solely on merit, while others consider merit in addition to financial need.
Jack Kent Cooke Foundation College Scholarship
This scholarship is available to high-achieving high school seniors. Must have an unweighted GPA of 3.5 or above and an ACT composite score of 26 or above.

Diesel Technician Scholarship
Must be enrolled in an accredited diesel or collision repair technology program.

Scott Community College Foundation – Future Leaders Scholarship
Must be a high school senior planning to attend Scott Community College, be in the upper half of your graduating class and demonstrate involvement in at least one extra-curricular activity.

AES Engineering Scholarship
This scholarship will be awarded to high school seniors and will be awarded on the basis of character, as determined by an evaluation of the essays that are submitted. You are not required to be taking Engineering courses to be eligible.

The Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship
To be eligible for this scholarship you must be a high school senior and a U.S. citizen.

HyVee Foundation Scholarship-
Hy-Vee Foundation is awarding up to $40,000 in scholarships to students seeking a four-year degree at any baccalaureate degree-granting college in the United States. There will be 40 scholarships available each being in the amount of $1,000. This scholarship is open to high school seniors who began their employment on or before September 15 of the application year; high school senior sons and daughters of full-, regular, and part-time Hy-Vee who have a minimum of six months employment with the company as of September 15 application year.
The Quad City Engineering Science Council Scholarship
This scholarship program provides multiple one-time scholarships ranging between $1,000 – $2,500 each for high school seniors pursuing a STEM degree at a 4-year university.

This scholarship is available for students preparing for a newspaper career.

Ascentra Credit Union Scholarship
Five scholarships will be given to senior high school Ascentra members planning to enter college.

The Iowa PGA Foundation – Charlie Burkart Scholarship
Scholarship winners are selected on the basis of their interest and activity in golf, the potential for future contributions to the game, leadership skills, community involvement, then on their academic/professional ability and financial need.

Nile C. Kinnick Scholarship – University of Iowa
Male, incoming freshmen to the University of Iowa, with minimum 3.4 GPA and 25 ACT composite score are eligible for this scholarship.

Iowa Farm Bureau
All students whose parents are Scott County Farm Bureau members are encouraged to enter the county scholarship contest.

Applicants must be a relative of a St. Patrick Society member.

Children’s Cancer Connection – Empowering Scholarship
Applicant must be directly affected by childhood cancer including individuals who currently have or have had cancer before age 18 or a sibling of that individual.
Ivory/Optimist Educational Scholarship
Applicant must be a graduating senior in the Davenport School system, be a full-time resident of Davenport, and planning to attend an accredited trade or vocational school, college or university.

Levy Educational Scholarship
Must be a high school senior, a full-time resident of Davenport planning to pursue a bachelors degree in the area of fine arts.

Iowa Elks Association Vocational Grant
Applicant must be pursuing a vocational (2 year or less) training/education program. These grants are not intended for students pursuing a 4-year course of study that will lead to a bachelor’s degree.
