The entire Assumption family (parents, grandparents, alumni, etc.) is invited to gather in the AHS Chapel for prayer each Thursday morning at 9 a.m. Those in attendance will pray for the students (each by name, one class per week), and their intentions (prayer boxes are available in several of the teachers’ rooms), along with intentions for the entire AHS community. Each prayer session is concluded by the group praying the Rosary together.
Those wishing to attend should enter AHS through the Main Entrance, register in the Front Office, and proceed to the Chapel. Please contact Joanie Vonderhaar at 563-505-5420 with any questions. Prayer requests may be sent to: AHSprayers@gmail.com
If you have not gone in and updated your student’s information on JMC – health, car license information, any address changes – please do so as soon as possible. You can do so by going on to the Assumption web site and click on “Student Information Update”.
Adoration is held every Tuesday after the 7:10 AM chapel mass. This is a wonderful way to spend a little time with Jesus.
Should you wish to sign up please do so at the following link: Adoration Sign-up .
On Friday, November 10th, students and faculty honored those (past and present) who are responsible for the freedoms we enjoy today. Senior Kevin Koepke played Taps, the choir sang the National Anthem, and prayers were offered for all of those St. Ambrose Academy and Assumption High School graduates who have lost their lives in service to this country.

Junior & Senior Class Parent Fundraiser Parties need a home and a date. This is an opportunity to meet other parents of your student and reacquaint with those you know in a low-key, social fun setting. Great food is always a key part of this evening, as well as, your favorite adult beverages. Fall is an optimal time for this to happen. Your suggested donation to attend raises funds for a class gift to April Knight 2018. Hosts provide beverages or food and additional dollars.
Questions/Interested? Please contact Susie Foster at susie.foster@assumptionhigh.org or 563-326-5313 x 281. Thank you!
