Assumption Knight Players to Present One Act Showcase
Join the Assumption Knight Players on Saturday at 7 PM and Sunday at 2 PM as they present a One Act Showcase at Assumption’s Sunderbruch Auditorium. There are six one act plays and one short film to be performed, all directed by student directors Miley Ashby, Ceci Booth, Adie Craig, Tatyana DelPreore, Lindsey Gerlach, Grace Hagerman, Charles James-Hoos, Wes Ossowski, and Emily Wichelmann. Miley Ashby, Ceci Booth, Lindsey Gerlach, and Wes Ossowski also wrote their original shows! Admission is $5 at the door and students with an activities pass get in for free.

Choir Events
Vocal music activities including Mass at Our Lady of Victory
This Sunday, April 23rd, the Assumption Choir will be participating in the 9:00 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of Victory in Davenport. Please join them prayer!
Next Wednesday, April 26th, members of the choir will be presenting at vocal recital at 7:00 p.m. in the Assumption Cafeteria. The program will last about 45 min. and will include various solos and small ensembles.
Congratulations to the choir members who participated in the IHSMA District Solo and Small Ensemble festival on March 25th at Anamosa High School. Five entries received a Division I rating and five entries received a Division II rating.
Come out and support these great musicians!

Please Consider Hosting Team Members For Our Upcoming Retreats!
We are currently looking for families to host members of a retreat team that is coming in from New York in April. There are 8 team members that will need lodging and transportation from Monday afternoon on April 17th– until Friday, April 21st . In the past, we’ve looked for host families to accommodate two (or more) team members each night for the duration of their stay. Please let Mrs. Imborek know if your family is willing to host. I need families willing to host two or three male members of the Hard as Nails Evangelical Team:
Monday, April 17th (pick up at AHS at 3:00) in the teachers parking lot- provide them dinner and lodging.
Tuesday, April 18th (drop off team members at Sacred Heart Cathedral at 7:30 AM- Mrs. Imborek will meet there and get them ready for the day- we provide breakfast and lunch) and pick up members at 3:00 from Cathedral*, provide dinner and lodging. *Mrs. Imborek can drive team members to your home on Tuesday after the retreat.
Wednesday, April 19th (drop off team members at Sacred Heart Cathedral at 7:30 AM- Mrs. Imborek will meet there and get them ready for the day- we provide breakfast and lunch) and pick up members at 3:00 from Cathedral*, provide dinner and lodging. *Mrs. Imborek can drive team members to your home on Wednesday after the retreat.
Thursday, April 20th (drop off team members at Sacred Heart Cathedral at 7:30 AM- Mrs. Imborek will meet there and get them ready for the day- we provide breakfast and lunch) and pick up members at 3:00 from Cathedral*, provide dinner and lodging. *Mrs. Imborek can drive team members to your home on Thursday after the retreat.
Friday, April 21st (drop off team members at Sacred Heart Cathedral at 7:30 AM- Mrs. Imborek will meet there and get them ready for the day- we provide breakfast and lunch). Team members will be heading home this afternoon.

Class Retreats – Parent/Treats Sign Up!
We are looking for donations of fruit and plateable desserts (homemade items are a real treat!), for the upcoming Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior Retreats. Donations can be dropped off in the AHS Front Office anytime between 7:15 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., or the morning of the retreats. Please label for which retreat you are bringing for (ie “Senior Retreat”). If you have a container you would like returned, please remember to label it. If you know what you plan to bring, please put that in the notes on the sign-up. Thank you so much for your support of our AHS community!
