GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship
High school seniors nationwide who demonstrate leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship are invited to apply for the 2024 GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program. This program annually provides college-bound students with $10,000 renewable scholarships – up to $40,000 total per recipient – and supports them as they lead and serve in college and beyond.

Assumption Choir to present Fall Concert
The Assumption Choir will present its Fall Concert next Tuesday, October 19th at 7:00 p.m. This 30-minute program will take place at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 422 E. 10th St., Davenport, and there is no charge for admission.
Students Selected for the 2021 Opus Honor Choir
Two members of the Assumption Choir have been selected to participate in the 2021 Opus Honor Choirs as part of the 9th grade ensemble. On November 18th Katelyn O’Brien, alto and Tristen Gray, tenor will travel to Iowa State University and spend the day in rehearsals and performance with nearly 150 other 9th graders from across the state of Iowa. Congratulations Katelyn and Tristen!

Tickets can be purchased at the link provided below. Tickets can be purchased individually: $10 for adults and $8 for students/senior citizens. FlexPasses can also be purchased for $20 for anyone wishing to purchase a ticket for all 3 performances. Tickets can also be purchased at the door.

Annual Local College Fair
The annual IQCCP College Fair will take place on Monday, October 11, from 5:30–7:00 p.m. The fair will take place at Scott Community College Urban Campus on 101 W. Third Street, Davenport, IA. For details, visit eicc.edu/IQCCPColleges or contact Kelly Bush at kelly.bush@assumptionhigh.org.

Assumption High School: A Tradition of Excellence
AHS Prayer Group
The AHS Prayer Group gathered at 9AM Wednesday morning to pray for the needs of our AHS students, faculty, staff and community. We took the opportunity to pray for each member of the AHS Faculty and Staff by name, prayed for the students’ special intentions, prayed for a safe and joy-filled Homecoming, and concluded by praying the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary. All parents, alumni and friends of AHS are invited to join. We will gather each Wednesday in the AHS Chapel at 9 AM. This is a unique and special prayer opportunity. Come as you are and come when you are able and your schedule allows (Please enter using the main entrance). Although many of you may work during the day and may not be able to join us, please know, we are happy to lift any intentions you may have and we ask that you remember our prayer gathering and join us in spirit.
