What’s Happening at AHS

Mike Patin – Speaker at Lourdes – February 5th and 6th – 6:30-7:30 PM

Mike Patin – international Catholic speaker and “Engagin’ Cajun’ – uses energy, humor, and stories to remind people of God’s presence among us while inviting others (and himself) to take the “next step” in our journey with God.

He will be speaking at Lourdes on Wednesday, February 5th and Thursday, February 6th from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Come for one night or both – all ages are invited! No matter who you are, Mike will challenge you, entertain you, and leave you wanting to go even deeper in your relationship with God!

There is no charge to attend, and no pre-registration is required. Contact Lourdes at 563-359-0345 for questions.

Save the Date – April Knight – April 24, 2020

Save the Date: April Knight will be held on Friday, April 24, 2020 this year – mark your calendars!

April Knight, Assumption’s largest fundraiser, benefits all students at Assumption by funding facility improvements, classroom materials, technology upgrades, and student activities in Academics, Athletics, and Fine Arts. This festive and very fun evening, complete with fantastic food, adult beverages, music, dancing, and live and silent auctions, is held in the creatively transformed gym at Assumption.

This year’s April Knight will celebrate the Tradition of Excellence at Assumption!

THIS WEEKEND – 61st Annual Senior Class Spaghetti Supper: 4-7pm in the AHS Cafeteria

ALL ARE WELCOME!  Please join us this Sunday, January 26, 2020, in the Assumption High School Cafeteria.  Drop in anytime between 4 – 7 p.m. for the annual Senior Spaghetti Supper! Your attendance and support are greatly appreciated. This event is our special gift to the Assumption Community.

The meal includes salad, spaghetti, bread, drink, and dessert. Meals are complimentary, and Rev. Louis Colonnese’s sauce recipe (used at the first AHS Spaghetti Supper in 1960) is the secret! Take-out orders will be packaged upon request. Please help the Assumption Class of 2020 in this service effort. The class is attempting to raise funds to give a gift back to the school upon graduation. Donations will be accepted at the door.
